Dr. Emma Nordbäck is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Organization at Hanken School of Economics in Finland. Emma has a multidisciplinary background with a master’s degree in user-centered design processes and a PhD in organizational psychology and leadership. She has been studying virtual work for the past 10 years. Her research focuses on virtual work arrangements ranging from globally distributed teams to workplace flexibility, with an emphasis on leadership, communication, and team dynamics. Her work has been published in numerous scientific journals and leading management conferences.
